Give Help
There are many ways you can give to those less fortunate than you. Of course, cash donations are always gratefully accepted. But there is something else you can give that is more precious and more meaningful than money. You can give your time. Several organizations throughout Arizona depend on volunteers to deliver their services to those in need. From office work to outreach, a helping hand to a shoulder to lean on, your time can make all the difference. Volunteer With Us! Community Information & Referral is always looking for volunteers to help us help Arizonans in a variety of ways.
You may also wish to get involved with VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) as a Volunteer Tax Preparer, Interpreter, Screener/Greeter, or Site Coordinator. If you have a few hours a month, find yourself with lots of time on your hands, or need to brush up on your office skills, consider giving back to your community. You could volunteer and assist social workers by completing forms, answering phones, entering data, act as interpreters and/or translators, and provide general clerical support for many of the
